 Like any other clan, Moonclan has ranks. The ranks are as follows:

• Hunters (hunt for meant)
• Foragers (find berries, plants, and mushrooms to eat)
• Candlecraft
• Moondusts (Witches, usually a little outcast)
• Townscats (basic clanlings)
• Leaders
• Newmoons (12 moons old)
• Kits (newborns to 6 moons)
• Kittens (7 to 11 moons)
• Apprentices
• Warriors (fight, rarely)
• Guards (guards the entrance to the clan)
• Elders (Wise cats)
• Librarians
• Shopowners
• Forestkeepers (cares for the forest)
• Advisors (advises leader)
• Healers
• Clan Associates (diplomats)
• Moonfall (Social Outcasts)
• Outranks (Make up their own ranks or simply don't have one)

Candles

 Moonclan has an aura around it and in each shop, den, ect. These auras are kept up with candles handmade by cats, infused with magic, and sold in different shops and stalls around the clan territory. Each shop supplies certain auras, and where you get them can change the aura's strength and variant. Each shop owner must maintain the shop by themselves, occasionally with the help and apprenticeship of kits. Here are a few auras made in the clan shops.

 Moonclan is a clan in close bondage with Starclan. Here are the clan's residents:

Karma~Founder

When Karma was born, her mother started training her to be an assassin. On the day of her first mission, she fled her clan and started a new life on her own in a beautiful valley, hidden from the rest of the world and edged with a river.

Star Ceremonies

Once a litter or cat reaches twelve moons, a Star Ceremony is held. Star Ceremonies include these traditions:

> "Dancing With the Moon" -- a dance that mimics the cycles of the moon

> "Dancing With the Stars" -- a dance that mimics Silverpelt's shape and the constellations

> "The Becoming" -- the ceremonial act that connects the twelve-moon, or "newmoon" to Starclan. The newmoons are dressed in basil, then flowers of their choice. Next, chains of amethyst, moonstone and one other stone- the eldest sibling's choice -are draped over the newmoons, accompanied by a veil. A statement and prayer is made to Starclan, then the clan leader, draped in silk veil and cape, blesses the newmoons one by one.
